Why college study abroad programs?
Four weeks at our language centers abroad are the equivalent of a semester of language. Earn college credit* with the added confidence that can only be gained by living in the country.
With EF, you won't switch back to English as soon as you leave the classroom. Instead, you can choose from participating in EF hosted local cultural actives or going out with your new international friends and classmates. Your learning will continue outside of class as you engage with locals, get an ear for the colloquial language, and enjoy delicious local cuisine. Whether you spend your time surfing the waves of Costa Rica, drinking wine by the Eiffel Tower, making pasta in Rome, or mastering the art of calligraphy in Tokyo – you’ll come back home with a new perspective.

Design your course
Whether you're interested in summer programs or in spending a semester, J-Term, or Maymester abroad, EF offers flexible programs. Go for as short as two weeks or continue your education post-graduation and travel with us for a whole year.
