Sunny days are a fact of life here in San Diego, and a varied landscape of picture-perfect beaches, rolling foothills and palm tree-lined neighborhoods make it easy to enjoy.

EF’s English course students spend a lot of time mingling with locals on the miles of beaches hugging San Diego’s coast. Away from the white sand, students can see exotic animals at the world famous San Diego Zoo or enjoy the seaside view over lunch in a La Jolla cafe. San Diego’s Sea World is also a popular attraction, as visitors get within feet of Orca whales. Tucked along the border with Mexico, San Diego retains a very laidback, multicultural American feel.
