We are eager to know what our exchange students think about our student exchange program. Our aim is to use this knowledge to help develop and improve our program and customer service.
Student surveys
All our exchange students fill out a survey during the middle of their exchange and again at the end of their exchange. Students use this survey to tell us about their experience and to let us know how they think we can improve the program and our services to them. We use the results of the survey to constantly develop our program and make it better.
Our latest customer satisfaction survey, conducted in August 2010, told us that 94% of our students had a good overall experience with the EF High School Year program.
How we work to improve our program
We always strive to make our program better. This is accomplished through some of the following methods:
- Developing prepartation and informational material to give students a realistic and up-to-date picture of their exchange program and life in their host country.
- Refining our mandatory pre-departure orientation meeting to make sure students and parents are prepared for the upcoming exchange.
- Contacting each student personally while they are abroad to check that they are settled in and that things are running smoothly.
- Cooperating with school officials in all our destination countries as well as in students' home countries to make sure students get the most, academically, from our program.
