High School in China
In China high school covers grades 10 to 12. After the 9th grade Chinese students have the choice between continuing their education at an academic or vocational high school. You will be placed at a school that focuses on preparing students for university studies.
The high school year usually consists of two semesters, starting in September and February. Alongside the main subjects such as Math, English, Chinese and Science you will have the chance to take part in extracurricular activities.
If you plan to attend a Chinese university later on, you can also prepare for the HSK test, which is a Chinese proficiency exam required for all foreigners who want to attend a Chinese university.
