Program variations

Our different program options give you the opportunity to customize your EF High School Year experience. You can spend your exchange year in two different destinations, make a region choice or study at a private high school.

The following program options are available:

Region Choice for France, Germany, the UK and the USA.
Private international high school: EF International Academy
Summer Explorer Program: study abroad for 2 or 3 months during your summer holidays

Region Choices

You can request where you would like to spend your exchange in your destination country. Apply early to the program if you are interested in making a region request.

EF High School Year offers region choices in the following host countries:

USA
Great Britain
France
Germany

Private International High Schools

Prepare for the world's top universities at EF International Academy. You can choose a traditional American high school program or the International Baccalaureate Diploma as well as the A-levels programs.

In addition to the internationally recognized A-levels and IB Diploma programs, EF International Academy offers a one year high school preparation program for students who want to improve their language skills before entering the more challenging high school programs. Students graduating from EF International Academy are guarenteed a university placements. Choose between living on campus in student accommodations or with a host family.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
A-level Program
High School Preparation Program: for students who want to improve their language skills before entering any of the challenging high school programs.
