From January 2013 forward, EF will no longer offer the High School Year Abroad program in Australia. Students interested in language courses or academic pathways abroad will continue to have the opportunity to study with EF International Language Centers in multiple destinations worldwide. On an EF High School Year Abroad you'll be experiencing cultural immersion helping you develop, become independent and grow. It's a journey where you will discover new things about different cultures and yourself. You will live like any other native from the area, meet new friends, attend the local public High School and become part of a new family – your host family.
Become fluent in a language that is the mother tongue of 380 million people. Going on an EF High School Year abroad means living the American, Irish or British life and studying side by side with native English speakers for a whole year. Try subjects like English Literature or Public Speaking and join after school activities such as drama class, cheerleading or Irish hurling.
